Everyone has troubles. We face problems, affliction, suffering, and hardship. We need strength, endurance, and patience…for God is with us!
Purihin ang Panginoon! Dakila ang Diyos! Hallelujah! Panginoon alam mo po ang nasa puso ko sa mga sandaling ito..Oh God, You are my Comforter, my Life and my Everything! I worship and adore You Oh God! I live for You alone.. Oh Jesus break my heart the way You want it.. You owned Everything in ME..I lift Your name on high, magnify Your Name, You alone can satisfy me.. Oh God.. Fill my life with Your Joy!
Greetings in the name of the Lord friends! His name must be exalted in all the Earth for His Love endures forever.. I went to my husband’s office and i dont want to stay at the house and i just read the bible and God convicted me to make a blog.. hear the cry of my heart Oh God!
Some people think that only wicked people suffer, but God is on the side of the righteous and will remove all their troubles. It follows that, if a person is suffering, he must have committed some sin he should repent of. But what i am facing right now is really hard, friends.. I asked the Lord before, to break my heart, to give me something that will really test my faith in Him… He is always with me!
Sa mga sandali pong ito ay durog na durog ang puso ko, ang kaisa isa kong mahal na inay ay naapektuhan ng bagyo, she lost everything, only her clothes that she’s wearing left in her body.. But I praise God, the most important thing is she’s alive and she can still worship and praise God! I praise Him dahil alam ko na napakaganda ng plano Nya para sa Inay ko, na matanggap Nya ng buong buo ang Diyos sa buhay nya..Dalangin ko nuon na iparanas nya sa nanay ko ang buong pagmamahal, that she will accept Jesus as her Personal Saviour.. lahat tayo, we need God.. not only because we are young and we will have a good life, but everyone of us needs Him.. THE SALVATION from HIM… The "TRUE RELATIONSHIP" with God…
It’s so hard for me, i wasnt able to hear my Inay’s voice yesterday, it was Mother’s Day.. I usually call her at 4am (Philippines time) so we can pray and she will start her day with worships and praises to our God before she will do things for that day.. But last Thursday, when i called her, i was a little bit upset because she told me all the problems she has, and i told her, NAY BAKIT PO GANYAN KAILANGAN PO BA NA KAPAG TATAWAG AKO LAGING MAY PROBLEMA? NAY, KAILANGAN NYO NA MAGPAKATATAG.. KASAMA NYO ANG PANGINOON..and she stopped for a moment and we prayed..and i can tell she was crying.. and the line went off right after I finished my prayers for her.. and that was the last time i heard her voice.. Last friday the typhoon came there, her house was blown away by the typhoon CHANCHU…Our house in Batangas is just small, built with hollowblocks… I wasnt aware of that typhoon, and last Friday, i was able to talked with my niece, a 12 year old staying at Batangas with inay kasi bakasyon nila…she was holding Inay cell phone and she told me that Inay was outside the house, so di ko narinig boses ng inay ko..hindi ko nakausap nanay ko kasi naputol na po ang line.. And when i turned on the tv last friday i saw those dead people..died because of the typhoon..Oh i was so lonely, its in our place… But i have to be strong! Have to put my trust in the Lord…have to deal with this tragedy.. I thought we had enough coz of KATRINA last year.. But now it happened also with my Inay.. The most imporatant thing, is she’s alive and she have her life that can still glorify and praise the Lord! (Im still trying to get in touch with them but there’s no electricity and they can’t chagre their cell phone..i called my sister and she told me that my inay is just staying there in our neighbor..
Thank You my dear church members, Rance’s family and co-workers, FIL-AM Christian Fellowship members for all the support, and to all of our family friends, and all my friends thank ya’ll so much..especially for your prayers and comfort..for the hugs and kisses..for calling me and comforting me.. for all those money that ya’ll gave, God will bless ya’ll.. Most of all thank You Oh Lord, for giving this situation, because i know You have a great purpose why it happened.. Lord thank You for comforting the family of the victims and for loving my family and thank You for giving me friends that really love me.. Thanks for all the comforting emails friends.. God bless your hearts..Oh, I thank the Lord for all of ya’ll.. You are all so nice to me, and I glorify His name for He is so awesome..God will bless ya’ll in return for all those help youve given to me..
Faithful Christians will suffer. Yet the Christian’s life is still the best, because only faithful Christians have the assurance that we can endure, that God will help us, that the result will be for our good, and that in the end we will have eternal life..
"God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). God has promised to help us endure, but we must make use of the help He provides.
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 - Affliction taught Paul not to trust in himself, but in God. God has repeatedly allowed countries to face wars, famines, and hardships when they became independent and failed to trust Him. Often this shows people their need for God.
Melody be strong, God will handle it ok, for you know that Suffering Keeps Us Humble and Dependent on God.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 - Paul’s "thorn in the flesh" was a messenger from Satan, yet God allowed it to remain because it kept Paul from becoming too proud over the many revelations he had received. From weaknesses, God can produce great strength.
Genesis 50:20 - Joseph explained that his brothers had mistreated him, but God used that as a means to save the family from famine.
2 Timothy 1:8 - Paul suffered great hardship for the Lord, and we should share in those sufferings. If he endured without falling away, we can too. He is the example we should imitate (1 Corinthians 11:1).
Hebrews 12:1-4 - Jesus (and faithful Old Testament characters) are witnesses to what we can do under trying circumstances. Our temptations are no worse than theirs. All these examples show that God will keep His promises to help His people endure faithfully. (1 Pet. 2:19-23)
Now friends, think for a moment of the really important things in life. How many of them are accomplished without hardship? Birth of a baby? Working to care for our families? Our eternal salvation? Suffering is an inherent part of everything good! So Satan sends trials to harm us, but God can make them come out in the end for our good (Romans 8:28). But this works only if we remain faithful.
Satan puts trials in our lives to harm us. Yet one of the greatest demonstrations of God’s power is His ability to take those problems and use them to accomplish good. The greatest example of this is the death of Christ. Satan intended it as a defeat for God and all mankind, yet it ended up as the salvation of all mankind. (1 Peter 2:21-24)
Philippians 4:6,7 - "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God."
These passages do not promise that God will remove our problem, but they do promise He will provide the strength we need to be faithful despite the problem. Jesus and Paul both prayed about problems, and God answered their prayers, but the problem was not removed. Instead, God gave them strength to endure (Matt. 26:36-46; 2 Cor. 12:7-10).
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13.
In Your care,
Your daughter Melody
