God’s Power In My Life

God keeps His promise, & He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm, at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.. (The Lord will fulfill His purpose for you! be still and know that He is always with you!) body {background: url(’http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/3696/wearybkgrndvx2.jpg’}

Jesus touched every life that ever encountered Him and He still touches lives today. Those who have believed on Him as Savior KNOW that He is the Lord of Glory and that He is coming back again. We believe His promises.

Greetings in the name of the Lord friends.. How are ya’ll? Sorry if i did not update my blog lately.. Last Monday was a great Memorial Day for us..Rance was off from his work and we just stayed at home instead of going somewhere. My mom in law called me Monday morning and she told me that she will prepare food for us (DADDY, HER, SWEETHEART RANCE and I). At about 4 pm we started to get ready to go to my in law’s house and guess what, we made it at about 6pm because i told Rance 2006_0529image0095
that i wanted to see his cousin’s son 2006_0529image0103
(Cameron) first.. 2006_0529image0094
So we went there first and i played with him..2006_0529image0107
I love him so much and he is so sweet.. 2006_0529image0098
I had a wonderful time with him… Rance kept saying "lets go sweetheart, they’re waiting for us" but i cant say bye to Cameron.. he kissed me a lot on my lips and he’s two years old and he said "bye darling, i love you" when i left him.. finally, my Sweetheart carried me outside para mailayo na kay Cameron.2006_0529image0110
.hehehe ang bigat ko po! wahhhh..hehehe And before we ate, we had our bible study together and once again the presence of the Lord was between us, truly that 2 or 3 gathered in His name, He’s in the midst of them.. 2006_0529image0115
Praise God! I thank the Lord for blessing me so much, for giving me a such a wonderful family.. As we were praying i can’t help myself but cried, i remember my family most especially my inay and tatay.. 2006_0529image0118
i really dont know where is my father but God has given me a wonderful father-in-law who really treats me like his own daughter..2006_0529image0117
They love to hug and kiss me. I love them so dearly..and we did eat together and oh what a diet, i ate too much! Mom cooked good foods once again and that time i did not cook any filipino food.. and that was my first time that i ate deer sausage, it was really good.. They’ve been encouraging me to eat it and it took almost 2 years before i tried it.. hehehe.. But it was good, Dad said I didn’t know what i’m missing.. And after we ate together we played scrabble, I won I won! Praise the Lord i had a great Monday with my family here..

Today, after my husband’s work we went to our friend’s house and encouraged them to seek the Lord, we ate together and after that we had our Bible study and Praise the Lord it was such an awesome Bible study and they got saved today! Glory to our Living God! we got home at about 6pm and we started to clean our yard, i mowed and my sweetheart used the weed eater and i planted some roses.. we finished at about 8pm.. we were both tired but we were so happy after doing those things because we know that God is watching us.. and in I Corinthians 10:31 says, Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.. and the funny thing was, i fell asleep in the bath tub once again hehehe.. so now im here updating my blog, my hair is still wet so i decided to update my blog now…

Friend, did you know that you were created to have a loving relationship with God? He is patiently and lovingly waiting for you to respond to His invitation to salvation. Yes, you can receive forgiveness for your sins and assurance of eternal life through faith in His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved" (JOHN 3:16-17). "Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent" (JOHN 17:3).

You may be asking yourself: "How can I know God?" Man is able to know the true and living God through His Word (that is, the Bible). The Bible reveals God’s character and His plan for mankind. It is through reading His Word that we come to a knowledge of the righteousness of God and that which He requires of us.

What is it that prevents us from personally knowing God? Our sin has separated us from God — our corruption is to such a degree that we cannot know Him personally and cannot experience His love. God’s Word says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (ROMANS 3:23). Man was created to have fellowship with God, but because of his sin (i.e., anything that is against the righteousness revealed in God’s Law) he is prevented from that fellowship. This includes anything less than perfect obedience to God’s commands.

"The wages of sin is death" (ROMANS 6:23a). The ultimate result of this death is an eternity in Hell. This spiritual death forces a separation from God. Man is sinful and God is holy. This creates a gulf unbridgeable by man making that intended fellowship impossible. The only solution is a divine bridge — that bridge is Christ.

God created a way by sending His Son to pay the price for our sin. "God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (ROMANS 5:8). He died in our place; He who knew no sin became sin for us. This removed our burden of sin and allows us to enter into that desired fellowship if we follow His way.

He is the only way. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

It is not just enough that you know these truths. We must individually place our trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is by repenting of our sins and believing on Christ that we can know God personally and experience His love.

"But as many as receive Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (JOHN 1:12).

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them" (EPHESIANS 2:8-10).

"Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (ACTS 2:38).

You can receive Jesus Christ right now by faith. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation" (ROMANS 10:9-10).

If you now believe on God and place your faith in His Son, congratulations — and welcome to His family. We, all being His children, share in a heavenly inheritance! We are heirs to heaven and are promised the eternal pleasure of glorifying God. As our life here on earth progresses, God will continue to work in our hearts. We are daily being conformed to the image of Christ, Himself. We will begin to live lives of righteousness. Obedience to God will not be a burden to us, but rather a joy.

You may wonder, now that you are a Christian, "What now?" My dear friend, my greatest recommendation for believers, new and old, is fourfold: 1) find a church so you might hear the preaching of the Word and rejoice in the fellowship of other Christians, 2) study the Bible for that is where we learn of God and His plans, 3) pray to Him to strengthen your faith and increase your love toward Him, and 4) enjoy the blessings given by God in the heavenly ordained sacraments: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. All of these will work to encourage and build upon your faith. If you have any questions, search the Scriptures, ask your Pastor, or please feel free to ask me and send ur email to cynosure16@yahoo.com .

Praise the Lord! God is truly great friends! We had a wonderful Sunday worship with our invited friends.. Im glad that they liked the church where we went to.. (And Ledjie, Kevin, Kayla and Ma’am thank ya’ll so much for coming with us!) I really enoyed their company, she’s my new filipina friend here and she just came from the Philippines….I know God has a great purpose why we met.. And we had our worship together in Resurrection Life Church and after that we had our lunch together at RYAN’S Restaurant(thank You Lord for blessing us) and we went to their house,  and we were able to visit also her mom in law’s house.. I am so blessed and so thankful that they went with us also at our INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP bible study..I thank God that He has given me another wonderful Sunday! He blessed me a lot and i really thank Him for sending MCBRIDE’S as my new friends! (Jhie, i know you will read this when you wake up dearest..hehehe).. and friends,  i just want to share what i have learned today from God and He just used the preacher to remind us about learning to live debt free for life..

The problem:

*Most of us live from payday to payday and ask where did it go?

*We have no plan_ we just spend

*We use credit and credit cards

*We want to buy want we want but not want we need

The answer: The Bible is a blue print for living-"Leran to use it" KINDLY CLICK HERE… Friends, did you know the Bible talks about PRAYER-500 VERSES FAITH- LESS THAN 500 VERSES and MONEY- 2,350 VERSES?

How we handle money affects our fellowship with God- To get closer to the Lord, learn to apply His principles of money- Luke 16:11. Possessions compete with the Lord- Matthew 6:24.. Friends, turn to God for help not the world- Isaiah 55:8. Society says, God plays no role in handling money and my happiness is based on being able to afford my desired standard for living. The Bible says as you learn and follow the scriptural principles of how to handle money you will draw close to Christ and learn to be content in every circumstance.

God’s part "THE FOUNDATION"- I Chronicles 29:11-12

Ownwership or Lordship- Everything belongs to God- Psalam 24:1, lev 25:23; Haggai 2:8, Psalm 50:10, Colossians 1:17, Luke 14:33 and Genesis 22:2.

Learning to be content

CONTROL- The first step toward contentment-recognize God as owner of all your possessions. God is in control of everything- I Chronicles 29:11-12, Psalm 135:6, Daniel 4:34-35.

PROVISION- God promises to provide for our needs- Matthew 6:33, Genesis 22:14, Timothy 6:8 (OUR NEED FOR FOOD AND COVERING) Philippians 4:19, II Samuel 12:7-8.

Getting to know God Read God’s word, it is a road map for us to follow.. Heres an online bible,,huwag pong idahilan an wala po kayong bible dahil eto na po online Bible provided by Sis Melody.

Now friends, what does scripture say about debt? Romans 13:8, Proverbs 22:7, I Corinthians 7:23.. Jesus paid for our freedom, stay free from debt so you can serve Him.. Debt is considered a curse.. Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 12, 15, 43-44..

Now friends always remember that money, most common of temporal things, involves uncommon and eternal consequences.. Even though it maybe done wuite unconsciously, money molds people- in the process of getting it, saving it, of using it, of giving it, of accounting for it.. Depending upon how it is handled, it proves a blessing or a curse to its possessor, either the person becomes master of the money or the money becomes a master of the person….

God bless friends and keep coming back!

Love in Christ,
~Sis MeLoDy~

God is desiring for His people to die to their own efforts at trying to make it in this world, and turn to Him instead and let Him become their righteousness as His Word says.

Now friends, can we have a little talk just for a sec??  There may be some of you who have come to this page that have never taken the time to stop and really think about where you are in your walk with God.  Do you know Jesus?  I mean REALLY know Jesus as your Savior? Have you asked Him into your heart?  Many people know what the verse John 3:16 says.. in a nutshell it says that God sent His Son so that we might have life.. and some may have read the next verse that says that Jesus didn’t come to condemn people.. but let’s make sure that we don’t stop before getting to John 3:18 because it states that we are already condemned if we do not believe on Him. You know dear friends… God’s Word says that there will be a day when EVERY knee will bow and EVERY tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST is Lord.. but ..did you know that on that day it will be too late for people to make amends?  We know not what day the Lord will return and the Bible says it will happen "in the twinkling of an eye".  There are some things we can put off until tomorrow and it will not ever make a difference… there are some things we can gamble with and the consequences if we lose are not that great .. but our eternal future is not one of those things to chance. It truly saddens me to know that not everyone will take that step of faith and receive Jesus into their heart.  So until the Lord does come, you will find me and others like me who are praying, and teaching, and preaching, and walking the walk of faith, and doing whatever the Lord has set before us to reach those who are still waiting to make that decision.  If you are one of those who have just never really made that choice to receive Jesus into your life, please read this and you will know how to know God in your life like what i did before.. I was lost my friends, but Praise the Lord i found GOD! If you can read and edit your friendster’s page, i think dear and i hope and pray you have time to know the Lord…

Realize that you are a sinner.
No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person.  That is because we are all sinners.  We all fall short of God’s desire for us to be holy.  The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one” (Romans 3:10 NLT).  This is because we can not become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.

Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.
The Bible tells us, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 NLT).  This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.

Repent of your sin.
The Bible tells us to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19 NKJV).  The word repent means to change our direction in life.  Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.

Receive Jesus Christ into your life.
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday.  It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart.  Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . . .” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV).

Dear, if you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.

Dear Lord Jesus I am a sinner. I believe that you died for my sins. Right now I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. Through the help of the Holy Spirit I will serve you all the days of my life. In Jesus Name I pray.. Amen

If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart!  Your decision to follow Christ means God has forgiven you and that you will spend eternity in heaven.  The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV). To put your faith in action, be sure to spend time with God by reading your Bible, praying, going to church, and telling others about Christ.

Love in Christ,
~Sis MeLoDy~

Greetings in the name of the Lord friends! Can you look back where were you before? There were times that you were so happy, so lonely or maaring parang nasa isip mo ay katapusan na ng lahat..Life is never easy. It throws us curves. It shakes us up. It sometimes even pulls the rug out from under us. Those times are not fun. But don’t allow the bad times in your life to blind you to the blessings you do have. You may have to search for a few of them, but they’re around. Find something that you have now that you can be thankful for. Take comfort in the love and support of family and friends. And don’t limit your thankfulness to one day out of the year. The more we can be thankful, the more we realize we have the one thing we all need to continue persevering—hope…

As i looked back with my life before, i never imagined that i will be as happy as  i am right now! There were times in my life before that i just wanted to end my life. But that was the time that I havent met my Saviour Lord Jesus Christ! And that is true i am so happy not just happy but i have joy in my heart because of the Lord! Friends, maybe right now you are facing hardships in your life, or maybe you are unhappy or maaring homesick yung mga malayo sa Family nya, or maari rin na hindi masaya sa kung anong meron ka sa mga sandaling ito o maari rin namng masaya ka or maybe some of you are still confused with your life.. But im telling you this friends, we are all blessed.. kung iisipin mo pa lang yung bawat umaga ay may hininga tayo, may bagong pag asa at may panibagong mangyayari sa buong maghapon na yun, isa na yung pagpapala..and the thing that we can use the computer and we can talk with our family or friends in different parts of the world is such a blessing.. Do we really know Him?

Last Saturday we had our sleep over at a friend’s house (Ate Anita).. We had our bible study and after that we ate together, with adobong baboy, monggo, and pork barbecue.. Sa Pilipinas marami nagugutom at maraming hindi kumakain sa tamang oras, kaya we should give thanks for all the blessings we have.. And my friend got a new computer, i told her wow Praise the Lord ate! God is great! You got it free, isnt our God so rich ate? And she just agreed with me and she told me that i was really right!

God said in His word, "Blessed is he who patiently endures trials; for when he has stood the test, he will gain the victor’s crown — even the crown of Life — which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." So when i had that test in my life, it happened just few weeks ago about my Inay.. May mga tao na minsan di ako maunawaan kapag ipinapaliwanag ko ang Salita ng Panginoon, but truly its not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of the Loving God.. He is just right there, knocking at your heart..

Just open your hear dear! May the Lord bless you and give you peace of mind.. May He abundantly bless your whole family and may you be contented for what you have right now.. Just always remember that the best friendship you could ever have is to have the "true relationship with our God" PLS CLICK HERE

with lots of Love and Prayers,

sis melody

Hi friends, greetings in the name of the Lord! The whole week has been a whirlwind of emotion! I am continuing to go through the feelings of mixed emotion of not having communication with my Inay.. But finally i was able to talk with her and she told me that they’re okey and not hurt.. Truly that God is great! Praise the Lord! One thing we know is that God is with us at all times, and that it is a comforting thing to remember! Life has been a little overwhelming at times but I am enjoying all of the "transitions" of being back with my normal emotion. So… I thought I would try to update you today. Tonight we will have our bible study and as usual its friday so we will eat again our dinner at Chinese restaurant.. (kaya tumataba eh) and after that shopping again.. whew i dont like shopping it hurts my feet.. So probably i will just stay in the van and mess up with my Sweetheart, and Mom and Dad will shop for us.. hehehe… normally ganun gingawa ko, sakit po kasi sa paa magikot sa mall eh. But anyway friends, im so happy to tell you that God is great! He is really our amazing God! For the whole week i got lots of emails and sorry friends for not sending you my reply right away, and thanks for being there for me.. And once again thanks for keep reading my Blog, its all for you thats why i keep updating it and most of all for the Glory of our dear Lord, my Daddy! and thank you so much that you are seeking God in your lives.. He is our everything! And as your friend, i want you all to know that i will not stop telling ya’ll to seek God.. I want you all to feel His love for ya’ll.. He is waiting for you! And to all my new friends from friendster, i am so happy to know that you are always visiting my page and listening to its bg song. I am always praying that who will open it will feel the presence of God and will seek God..

Friend who ever you are reading it right now, may you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand. May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism. Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone. May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace. May a kind word, a reassuring touch, and a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them. Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.

Teach love to those who hate, and let that love embrace you as you go out into the world. May the teachings of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them. Remember, those whose lives you have touched and whose have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished. It is the content of the encounter that is more important than the form.

May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart. Find time each day to see beauty and love in the world around you. Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way. What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future. May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility. Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience. May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on another’s judgment of your accomplishments. May you always feel loved. And most of all, give your life to God and let His will be done in your life. God bless you and my prayers are always with you.. muwahh!

My fave verse from Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.. (you will hear it also from the background song of this blog).

sister in Christ,

sis melody

Everyone has troubles. We face problems, affliction, suffering, and hardship. We need strength, endurance, and patience…for God is with us!

Purihin ang Panginoon! Dakila ang Diyos! Hallelujah! You are my Comforter, my Life and my Everything! I worship and adore You Oh God! I live for You alone.. Oh Jesus break my heart the way You want it.. You owned Everything in ME..I lift Your name on high, magnify Your Name, You alone can satisfy me.. Oh God.. Fill my life with Your Joy!

Greetings in the name of the Lord friends! His name must be exalted in all the Earth for His Love endures forever.. I went to my husband’s office and i dont want to stay at the house and i just read the bible and God convicted me to make a blog.. hear the cry of my heart Oh God!

Some people think that only wicked people suffer, but God is on the side of the righteous and will remove all their troubles. It follows that, if a person is suffering, he must have committed some sin he should repent of. But what i am facing right now is really hard, friends.. I asked the Lord before, to break my heart, to give me something that will really test my faith in Him… He is always with me!

Sa mga sandali pong ito ay durog na durog ang puso ko, ang kaisa isa kong mahal na inay ay naapektuhan ng bagyo, she lost everything, only her clothes that she’s wearing left in her body.. But I praise God, the most important thing is she’s alive and she can still worship and praise God! I praise Him dahil alam ko na napakaganda ng plano Nya para sa Inay ko, na matanggap Nya ng buong buo ang Diyos sa buhay nya..Dalangin ko nuon na iparanas nya sa nanay ko ang buong pagmamahal, that she will accept Jesus as her Personal Saviour.. lahat tayo, we need God.. not only because we are young and we will have a good life, but everyone of us needs Him.. THE SALVATION from HIM… The "TRUE RELATIONSHIP" with God…

It’s so hard for me, i wasnt able to hear my Inay’s voice yesterday, it was Mother’s Day.. I usually call her at 4am (Philippines time) so we can pray and she will start her day with worships and praises to our God before she will do things for that day.. But last Thursday, when i called her, i was a little bit upset because she told me all the problems she has, and i told her, NAY BAKIT PO GANYAN KAILANGAN PO BA NA KAPAG TATAWAG AKO LAGING MAY PROBLEMA? NAY, KAILANGAN NYO NA MAGPAKATATAG.. KASAMA NYO ANG PANGINOON..and she stopped for a moment and we prayed..and i can tell she was crying.. and the line went off right after I finished my prayers for her.. and that was the last time i heard her voice.. Last friday the typhoon came there, her house was blown away by the typhoon CHANCHU…Our house in Batangas is just small, built with hollowblocks… I wasnt aware of that typhoon, and last Friday, i was able to talked with my niece, a 12 year old staying at Batangas with inay kasi bakasyon nila…she was holding Inay cell phone and she told me that Inay was outside the house, so di ko narinig boses ng inay ko..hindi ko nakausap nanay ko kasi naputol na po ang line.. And when i turned on the tv last friday i saw those dead people..died because of the typhoon..Oh i was so lonely, its in our place… But i have to be strong! Have to put my trust in the Lord…have to deal with this tragedy.. I thought we had enough coz of KATRINA last year.. But now it happened also with my Inay.. The most imporatant thing, is she’s alive and she have her life that can still glorify and praise the Lord! (Im still trying to get in touch with them but there’s no electricity and they can’t chagre their cell phone..i called my sister and she told me that my inay is just staying there in our neighbor..

Thank You my dear church members, Rance’s family and co-workers, FIL-AM Christian Fellowship members for all the support, and to all of our family friends, and all my friends thank ya’ll so much..especially for your prayers and comfort..for the hugs and kisses..for calling me and comforting me.. for all those money that ya’ll gave, God will bless ya’ll.. Most of all thank You Oh Lord, for giving this situation, because i know You have a great purpose why it happened.. Lord thank You for comforting the family of the victims and for loving my family and thank You for giving me friends that really love me.. Thanks for all the comforting emails friends.. God bless your hearts..Oh, I thank the Lord for all of ya’ll.. You are all so nice to me, and I glorify His name for He is so awesome..God will bless ya’ll in return for all those help youve given to me..

Faithful Christians will suffer. Yet the Christian’s life is still the best, because only faithful Christians have the assurance that we can endure, that God will help us, that the result will be for our good, and that in the end we will have eternal life..

"God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). God has promised to help us endure, but we must make use of the help He provides.

2 Corinthians 1:8-10 - Affliction taught Paul not to trust in himself, but in God. God has repeatedly allowed countries to face wars, famines, and hardships when they became independent and failed to trust Him. Often this shows people their need for God.

Melody be strong, God will handle it ok, for you know that Suffering Keeps Us Humble and Dependent on God.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 - Paul’s "thorn in the flesh" was a messenger from Satan, yet God allowed it to remain because it kept Paul from becoming too proud over the many revelations he had received. From weaknesses, God can produce great strength.

Genesis 50:20 - Joseph explained that his brothers had mistreated him, but God used that as a means to save the family from famine.

2 Timothy 1:8 - Paul suffered great hardship for the Lord, and we should share in those sufferings. If he endured without falling away, we can too. He is the example we should imitate (1 Corinthians 11:1).

Hebrews 12:1-4 - Jesus (and faithful Old Testament characters) are witnesses to what we can do under trying circumstances. Our temptations are no worse than theirs. All these examples show that God will keep His promises to help His people endure faithfully. (1 Pet. 2:19-23)

Now friends, think for a moment of the really important things in life. How many of them are accomplished without hardship? Birth of a baby? Working to care for our families? Our eternal salvation? Suffering is an inherent part of everything good! So Satan sends trials to harm us, but God can make them come out in the end for our good (Romans 8:28). But this works only if we remain faithful.

Satan puts trials in our lives to harm us. Yet one of the greatest demonstrations of God’s power is His ability to take those problems and use them to accomplish good. The greatest example of this is the death of Christ. Satan intended it as a defeat for God and all mankind, yet it ended up as the salvation of all mankind. (1 Peter 2:21-24)

Philippians 4:6,7 - "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God."

These passages do not promise that God will remove our problem, but they do promise He will provide the strength we need to be faithful despite the problem. Jesus and Paul both prayed about problems, and God answered their prayers, but the problem was not removed. Instead, God gave them strength to endure (Matt. 26:36-46; 2 Cor. 12:7-10).

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13.

In Your care,

Your daughter Melody

Being a mother is a very important role that the Lord chooses to give many women. Mothers are told to love their children in Titus 2:4-5 which says, “Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” In Isaiah 49:15a the Bible says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has born?”. When does motherhood begin? Does it begin the moment the baby is born? Not according to Scripture it doesn’t.

Scripture says motherhood begins at conception. In Luke 1, Mary had just been visited by an angel and told she was going to have a baby though she was a virgin. Mary goes to visit her cousin, Elizabeth, who is six months pregnant. Scripture tells us the moment Mary walked into the room at Elizabeth’s home, Elizabeth cries out, “Blessed among women are you, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord."

The scriptures are very clear that God is present in the creation of every human life. The most vivid depiction of this is seen in Psalm 139:13-18. The fact that God sovereignly superintended David’s creation caused him to praise God. David also pointed out the fact that God had the details of his life planned before eternity. In Jeremiah 29:11 God confirms David’s thoughts, "For I know the plans I have for you," declared the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Of course this brings up a very good question. What about those conceived out of rape or illegitimacy. The parent or parents that are responsible for that child may not "feel" as though that child is a blessing from God, but how that child was conceived does not mean that God did not sovereignly superintend its formation in the womb as David speaks of. God has a plan and purpose for every person born with no regard to how that birth came about. If this were not so then the scripture would not have told us this fact. In the New Testament we read that God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us (John 3:16). The fact of whether we view every child as a blessing from God depends on how much we see that child as God sees them. When we look at each child through the eyes of God, there is no question that every one is a blessing from God. If we look at that child through the eyes of sin, then we would doubt that blessing because we focus on the cause and not the Creator.

*Love her verbally.
When you tell your mother that you love her, it is important to be specific. Tell her why and how you love her. Express some of the qualities for which you love her, like the fact that you enjoy the meals she prepares or you appreciate how dependable she is. When you stop and think about all the things your mother does to serve her household, you will find plenty of examples.

*Love her physically.
Your mother was the first person to touch you. Before you were born, she wrapped you in her womb. After you came into the world, she tickled the bottoms of your feet and made you laugh. She kissed your cheeks in the middle of the night and held your little hands when they were soft and tender.

She also changed your diapers, tied your shoelaces, combed your hair, and buttoned your shirts. She touched you constantly during all those years when you needed the security of her touch. When her primary duties as a mother have expired, she will need to know that she is still needed. She will need your touch.

*Love her patiently.
Moms have big jobs. There likely is no corporate responsibility that rivals motherhood when it comes to physical, emotional, and spiritual commitment. It is easy to become impatient with our mothers when they don’t do things the way we want them to. Sometimes they are late to appointments, prepare meals we don’t like, or don’t follow through in the way we expect them to. In these times we must exercise patience.

It is important to remember that our mothers aren’t bottomless wells from which we draw each time we have a need. Our mothers have their own schedules and needs. It is unfair to expect them to align their lives to accommodate ours.

*Listen to her.
Can you remember a time when your mother stopped what she was doing to listen to you pour out your burdens? Maybe somebody you were dating stood you up, a friend didn’t invite you to a party, or you didn’t make the basketball team. What did your mother do? She put her arm around you and encouraged you. She listened.

Sometimes our mothers long for someone to talk to. One of the sweetest ways you can express love toward your mother is to listen to her. A lot of mothers suppress fears, anxieties, frustrations, and inner torments because they don’t want to worry their children. In fact, there are no parents who never have fears, heartaches, or burdens. In her latter years, she may face troubles more intense then anything she has helped you overcome in your own life. It is important to keep the door of communication open so that our mothers can express their fears when necessary.

*Love her gratefully.
Think for a moment about all the things that your mother has done for you over the years. How many meals did she prepare for you while you lived at home? How many boxes of cereal did she buy? You wanted Corn Flakes, so she bought that. You switched to Lucky Charms, so she bought that. She asked you how you liked your eggs–fried, scrambled, or poached.

Mothers never bring these things to our attention. They just make their trips to the grocery store and stand in line with their buggies full of food because they love us.
If we begin to enumerate all the little things that our mothers have done throughout the years, we will realize that we owe them an enormous debt of gratitude.

*Love her tenderly.
A mother sometimes needs acceptance and understanding rather than a lot of advice. Her actions may seem strange, but when you love somebody, you accept her just as she is. Maybe it’s something she can’t help. Maybe she doesn’t understand her own emotions. Don’t judge your mother–just tenderly love her, and accept that she’s going through a difficult time. The best mark of what kind of kids we are is how we respond to our moms when they are going through hardship.

*Love her generously.
Is anything too good for your mom? When you think about all the things she has done for you, could you ever do enough to repay her? More than likely your mother sacrificed so that you could wear the clothes you wore. When she went to the store to buy herself a dress, she made sure that you had the best she could afford first. What was left over, she spent on herself. Mothers do this everyday with their time and energy, canceling appointments or forfeiting opportunities to take their children to sports practice or friends’ houses. How can we be stingy toward our mothers when they have been so unselfish, loving, and generous toward us?

*Love her forgivingly.
Perhaps you do not have a harmonious relationship with your mother. You may be resentful and bitter toward her. Whatever has happened between you, you have a responsibility before God to forgive her. Maybe there is no excuse for her sins; however, when we do not forgive we can not love. And God tells us to love. If He can forgive us despite our failures, surely we can do the same for our mothers.

*Love her cheerfully.
What comes to your mother’s mind when she thinks about you? Does she smile or frown? Is she encouraged or burdened? The next time you visit your mother, encourage her, laugh with her, and do your best to make her happy. In doing so, you will show her how you genuinely feel toward her.

*Love her honorably.
"Honor your father and your mother that your days may be long upon the earth" (Exodus 20:12). It is the only one of the 10 Commandments with a built-in promise for blessing. It doesn’t matter what your vocation is in life, how many people know you, or the amount of money you earn. When you live the kind of life that honors your mother, she will be proud of you.

Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
I thank You for our mothers to whom You have entrusted the care of every precious human life from its very beginning in the womb.

You have given to woman the capacity of participating with You in the creation of new life. Grant that every woman may come to understand the full meaning of that blessing, which gives her an unlimited capacity for selfless love for every child she may be privileged to bear, and for all Your children.

Watch over every mother who is with child, strengthen her faith in Your fatherly care and love for her and for her unborn baby. Give her courage in times of fear or pain, understanding in times of uncertainty and doubt, and hope in times of trouble. Grant her joy in the birth of her child.

To mothers You have given the great privilege and responsibility of being a child’s first teacher and spiritual guide. Grant that all mothers may worthily foster the faith of their children..

Assist all "spiritual mothers", those who, though they may have no children of their own, nevertheless selflessly care for the children of others — of every age and state in life. Grant that they may know the joy of fulfilling this motherly calling of women, whether in teaching, nursing, religious life, or in other work which recognizes and fosters the true dignity of every human being created in Your image and likeness.

I beseech You to send Your Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to all mothers who sorrow for children that have died, are ill or estranged from their families, or who are in trouble or danger of any kind. Help grieving mothers to rely on Your tender mercy and fatherly love for all your children.

I ask your blessing on all those to whom You have entrusted motherhood. May Your Holy Spirit constantly inspire and strengthen them. May they ever follow the example of Mary, mother of Our Lord, and imitate her fidelity, her humility, and her self-giving love. May all mothers receive Your Grace abundantly in this earthly life, and may they look forward to eternal joy in Your presence in the life to come.

I ask this through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. AMEN.

Your daughter,

sis melody

Greetings in the name of the Lord friends.. Im so sorry if i did not update my blog. I was so busy and i need to take care of my Sweetheart Rance, he’s been sick for two days and praise the Lord he’s feeling well now.. Oh, it was my first time to see him like that, but i know God is our great healer.. We did not go to the doctor, we just prayed and trust the Lord that He will heal him.. and Purihin ang Panginoon, he’s healed.. Friends, i want to tell you something.. Im always sending you all messages that im praying for you right? And im doing it dearest! Alam nyo when i was a new believer of God, wala akong ibang paboritong gawin kundi magpray at umawit para sa Panginoon..( kahit Melody name ko naku, wala po akong boses but praise God, ang tunay nating pag awit sa Panginoon ay wala lang sa boses kundi mula sa puso.. anyway, my topic now is not about praise and worship kundi about prayer)..hehehe.. And as far as i remember, before I left Taiwan, I held our bible study and i taught about prayers.. It is so imporatnt for us to pray mga kaibigan, kasi po napakasarap makipag usap sa Panginoon.. Di ba nagagawa nga natin na makipag usap sa telephone sa kaibigan natin, or umupo sa harap ng computer para mkipag chat? Tama po ba ako, so kung kaya nating gawin yun pra sa kaibigan natin, o sa pamilya natin at iba pang mahal sa buhay kailangn rin nating makipag usap sa Panginoon hindi lang kapag may problema tayo.. kundi sa bwat sandali ng ating buhay kailangn natin Syang kausapin.. At yan po ang isa sa sekreto ni Sister Melody kung bakit po lagi ko nasasabi sa inyo na we need to pray and im always encouraging everybody to pray kasi po ang Panginoon ay di tulad ng isang kaibigan, na maaring nakikinig sa mga sinasabi mo oo.. but after that makalipas ang isa o 2 o higit pang araw wala na yung pinag usapan ninyo di ba? Ang Lord ay hindi ganun.. He hears and answers our prayers right? Alam nyo po ba, after my father left, ipananalangin ko na nawa ay muling bumalik sya sa piling namin.. at hanggang nagyon 16 years na ang nkakaraan di pa rin sya bumabalik, pero i believe in my heart na naririnig ng Panginoon ang lahat ng iyak ng aking puso… maging ang pagkakaroong ko ng anak, i know ibibigay Nya yun kasi naririnig Nya ako.. Praise God! And naaalala ko po, when i was 8 years old, kasama pa namin ang father ko, lagi binabangungot ang nanay ko, as in halos 30 minutes po lagi sya bago nagigising, at akala namin wala na sya, maraming beses po nangyari yun, magigising na lang sya andun na yung mga kapitbahay namin at kaya naputol mga ipin nya kasi ginagamitan po nmin ng kutsara para maopen yung mouth nya.. And alam nyo po ang ginawa ko, i went to our maisan, taniman ng mais at sa gitna nun, dun ako nanalangin, hinding hindi ko po makakalimutan yun, i told God that please tulungan Nya na huwag na mangyari sa Nanay ko yun.. And alam nyo po, hindi na po ulit naulit yun.. And im so happy to share it with you friends kasi gusto ko na magpray rin kayo at mgakaroon ng tiwala sa Lord na ipagkakaloob Nya yun sa oras na nararapat.. Here are some of my answered prayers;

1. MAGING MAPUTI (hehehe)

2. MAGKAROON NG MAGANDANG BOSES SA PAGKANTA PARA SA LORD

3. MAKILALA NG MGA KAIBIGAN KO ANG PANGINOON (SALVATION)

4. MAGING MAAYOS ANG BUHAY NG AKING INA

5. MAGING MASAYA ANG BUHAY NG MGA KAPATID KO, PINSAN AT PAMILYA KO

6. MAKALABAS SA MALING RELASYON

7. MAGKAROON NG TUNAY NA MATALIK NA KAIBIGAN NA KILALA ANG PANGINOON

8. MAGKAROON NG ASAWA AT BIYENAN NA TUNAY NA KILALA ANG PANGINOON

9. MAGKAROON NG BUHAY NA KALUGUD LUGOD SA HARAP NG TAO AT HIGIT SA LAHAT SA PANGINOON

10. MAGAMIT NG PANGINOON PARA SA MGA KAIBIGAN AT MAHAL KO SA BUHAY NA NAPAPALAYO NG LANDAS

For true Christians, prayer  is "communion with God". Through prayer we actually experience relationship with God. The quality of our prayer life then determines the quality of our relationship with God. Prayer is talking with God. Prayer is listening to God. Prayer is enjoying the presence of God. It can take many forms - for example: worship, confession, thanksgiving, praise, petition (asking for things), waiting (silent, listening and sensing of God) and warfare (command).

Prayer is not simply saying words. It is not repeating formulas. God is looking for heartfelt relationship. We are told by Jesus not to make meaningless repetitions of words when we pray. (Mathew 6:7). Tongues may be meaningless to our understanding, but it is not to God. In a future lesson we will give more attention to this subject. There is a lot of prayer that never reaches God. "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself" (Luke 18:11). "One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer shall be an abomination." (Proverbs 28:9). It is outside the scope of this lesson to talk about prayers offered to false gods or to the devil. Also, we will not look at religious prayers or traditional prayers that can be uttered without heart. We will be considering prayers that come from one who has repented of his sins to the best of his knowledge, and who walks by faith.

And bakit nga ba tayo nanalangin;

We pray because we love God. We spend time with God in prayer and communion because we love Him. Just as a man and woman in love desire to be together and communicate, so we - if we love God - will desire to be with Him and to fellowship with Him in proportion to our love for Him.

We pray because we depend on God. God is our source. He is our life (Colossians 3:4). Through prayer we receive the comfort, the strength and all the other resources that we need in life - both naturally and spiritually. Prayer - relationship to God - is as necessary to the spiritual life as air to the natural life.

We need to pray in order to resist temptation. "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation." (Mt. 26:41). Much sin is the result of the sin of prayerlessness. Through lack of prayer, we are weak, others are weaker and Satan gains the advantage in our lives.

We need to pray because God commands us to pray. "Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving." (Colossians 4:2). "Then he [Jesus] spoke a parable to them to this end, that men ought always to pray and not lose heart." (Luke 18:1). The need to pray is as great as the authority of God which commands us: "Pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is so vital to all that God wants to do on the earth, and so essential to us, that God commands us to do it all the time. We should even deny ourselves sleep and food at times in order to pray more and with greater power. (Matthew 6:16; Luke 6:12; Luke 21:36; Colossians 4:2; 2 Corinthians 11:27).

Paano nga ba manalangin?

If you are not sure how to pray, don’t despair! Everyone had to begin sometime. Just talk with God respectfully but openly. Talk with Him as your Father. Jesus taught us to pray, "Our Father …". Recognise God as a loving Father. Recognise Jesus as a Friend and a Brother. Recognise the Holy Spirit as your Comforter and Guide. Come to the Father in Jesus’ name (John 14:6; Hebrews 10:19). Begin your prayer with confession of your unconfessed sins. In this way the blood of Jesus cleanses us and prepares us to really relate to God. "Enter his gates with thanksgiving…" (Psalm 100:4). Thank God for forgiving your sins, for coming into your life, for making you His child. Then just talk with God, asking Him for whatever you need. Thank Him and praise Him for His answer. Spend time also asking for His Spirit to help you to pray. Talk to the Holy Spirit. Tell Him you want to know Him. "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us…" (Romans 8:26). The Holy Spirit will guide you into all the truth (John 16:13) and He will teach you to pray.

Ito po ang dapat gawin;

Prepare your heart for fellowship with God (Psalm 24:3-5) - Confess known sin in your life (1 John 1:6-9; 1 John 3:21-22; Hebrews 10:19) - Forgive all who have offended or hurt you (Mark 11:25-26) - See yourself then as dead to sin and sinless in the eyes of God. (Romans 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Have a purpose in prayer. Know what you are going to pray about. It is difficult to pray fervently without knowing what you want or desire from God. We should have a clear-cut, well-defined idea about what we are asking God for. If we do not have this, we can wait on God until He reveals His purpose for our prayer time. We do this by sitting still, or by worshiping in our hearts, waiting for God to place desires there. We can also begin by telling God our appreciation for Him.

Jesus told us to ask, seek and knock. (Matthew 7:7). In asking, we must be definite. In seeking, our goal is to know God and commune with Him. In knocking (intercession) we must understand what the Lord wants to do and pray the Word for that thing.

Sometimes we do not know what to pray for, and so we can pray in the Spirit (Romans 8:26). We can pray in tongues without understanding, even for hours, according to the will of God. However, Paul stated that he prayed with the spirit and with the understanding (1Corinthians 14:15). Our whole being, including our minds, should be involved in praying. Our minds should understand what we are asking God for. However, we can pray with the spirit (in tongues) when our minds need a rest (Isaiah 28:11,12)

Know what the Word of God says regarding the thing you are praying for.

We must renew our minds with the Word so that we know God’s will on the matter without a doubt. God’s will is to do what He promises in the Word. By meditating on the Word and letting it transform our hearts as we renew our mind in it, we prepare ourselves to pray in faith. If we don’t know what the Word says, there is a good chance that doubt will enter, and if we doubt we cannot expect to receive from God (James 1:6,7).

Usually Satan will try to suggest to you that your prayers were not heard. He will encourage you to look to the problems again and get your eyes off God. He will try to get you to talk as if you are not sure if your prayer is answered. If he succeeds in getting you to express doubt it is likely that your mouth confession will cancel the effect of your prayer. Therefore guard your mind and heart, resist the temptation to talk negatively about the situations with others, especially with those with whom you are praying.

Take firm control of your thought life. Think on positive things (Philippians 4:6-9). By praising God and confessing the relevant truths of the Word, cast down every thought that is contrary to your prayer. These thoughts many times are nothing but the suggestions of the devil, who is working to negate our faith.

So dear, please spend some time to talk with God ok? My prayers will always be with you all! and thanks and pls keep sending your prayer requests ok? God bless you all and keep seeking God dear!

With so much love and prayers,

sis melody

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I’ve been praying that God will send me more people, people that are seeking Him.. And Praise the Lord through internet, i met them and they are starting to thank the Lord, that through sister melody’s life they’re learning about God.. Praise the Lord! To Ate Daniella, Ate Arlene, Ate Nene, Ate Maria Evangeline, Ate Lanie, Ate Joe, Ate Teody, Nikki, Anna, Ate Lizel, Roselle, Raquel, Lui, Jeekai, Kerwin, Janice, Brenda, Ate Rachel, Jhane, Ate Rhose, Ate Edna, Ate Gemma, Ate Shie, Ate Angie, Ate Marty, Suzette, Dona, Jerod, Nemia, Angel, Aimee, Ate Neneth, Liezel, Jinky, Lanie, Best Myles, Honey Kell, Majal Badeth, Dizon, Alvin, Kuya Lloyd, Kuya Eduard, Thet, Gisela Elaine, Charity, Eva, Grace, Melody, Aillen 1 and 2, Sheryl, Aleli, Rodel, Michelle, Baneng, Lyn, Pau, Racel at sa lahat pa ng mga kaibigan ko na patuloy na lumalapit sa Panginoon, itong Blog na ito ay para sa inyo…and para sa mga kaibigan ko na di ko na nakakusap, Ruby, Raquel, Chevy, Pau, Racel, Annalyn, Michelle, Brian.. And even to Jenny, Shabem, Jan-jan, Liza, Arlene, Annie, Ate Jeck, Shower, Marry Ann, Jovy, Ivy, Anne, Marvie, Mhavic and to all my friends that are not member of friendster, from Philippines, Taiwan, Africa, Dubai, Brunei, Singapore and here in the States at sa lahat ng mga kaibigan ko kahit sa internet lang ko kayo nakilala this one is for you.. My prayers will always be with ya’ll! Im so sorry po, I cant mention all your names kasi po napakarami nyo po.. Pero hindi po yun ang gusto ng Panginoon, we have to give our lives to Him.. Binigyan Nya ako ng matalik na kaibigan sa buhay ni Precious Annie, at kahit sobrang tigas pa ng ulo ko nun, at di pa ako marunong sa Bible sya ang nagtiyaga sa akin.. truly its not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of the Living God! Dakila Sya! Praise the Lord! He is Alive~ He is MY EVERYTHING!

My dear friends, likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents. Luke 15:10 (KJV). If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up. Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. Be careful–watch out for attacks from satan, your great enemy. He prowls around like a hungry, roaring lion, looking for some victim to tear apart. Stand firm when he attacks. Trust the Lord; and remember that other Christians all around the world are going through these sufferings too. After you have suffered a little while, our God, who is full of kindness through Christ, will give you His eternal glory. He personally will come and pick you up, and set you firmly in place, and make you stronger than ever.

Praise God that you have accepted His offer of forgiveness and salvation. You have taken the first step in an eternal walk with Jesus Christ. You have been "born from above", your past has been forgiven, and Christ will never leave you nor forsake you.

However, there is something important you must know… YOU HAVE A VISCIOUS AND POWERFUL ENEMY HIS NAME IS SATAN He is not all-powerful, like God is. He only is allowed to act by getting permission from God… and God only gives this permission in a way that will ultimately benefit you . You may undergo some suffering…all christians do …. but God always gives you His strength to withstand it in proportion to the severity of the testing, and Christ always is in your heart to talk to and give you peace.

In your life before Christ, satan did everything he could to bring you his brand of sinful pleasures and escapes from God. He blinded your eyes and stole any Bible passages away from your mind so that you would not come to Christ. He filled your eyes with lusting after sinful pleasures and riches of this world, lied to you that there was no God or afterlife or Hell. and you and i were willing victims of his lies.
But now things are different. You have been made into a new person by the Holy Spirit. Christ has come to live in your heart, and wants to live His Life out through you on earth. Your old person, the one that had no power to resist sin, is dead. You have a new start, a new future, a new source of strength, because Jesus Christ lives in your heart.

And so Satan has changed his attitude and his tactics with you. You used to be his slave, but now you are his enemy. Whereas, before you had no power to say "no" to sin… now you do. Whereas, hopelessness, depression, guilt and sin were a way of life, now you have inner joy, peace meaning and purpose.

Please understand that as a new Christian, satan targets you for all kinds of discouragement and depression, and temptations, and then comes around later and accuses you of sinning and heaps guilt upon you.

Satan doesnt play fair… he’s like a lion thinning out the herd of antelope… the lion seeks out the weakest one to attack and kill. he doesnt go after the strong leader of the pack, he attacks the young and defenseless and lame. that is where you are now… relatively young, defenseless and unable to walk strongly in the faith.Satan cannot take away your salvation it is too late for that. The best he can do is make you discouraged, lie to you, fill your life with confusing and untrue information about your faith, and get you to draw into your shell, and become a non-witness for Christ… I’ve seen it many times, and it also happened to me when I was starting to be a servant of God, when i was still in Taiwan. Becoming closer to the Lord is a co-operative effort between you and God. It happens on the inside…in your soul. God wants to make you a special project for spiritual growth, but you have to do your part to take advantage of what He provides.

Start filling your eyes and mind with the Word of God. Carry your Bible with you at all times, and make use of any spare moments in the day to read it. Even if it is 5 minutes while sitting and waiting for something. Remember and inwardly digest God’s word. Pray for wisdom from the Holy Spirit to apply it to your life. Memorize it by hand-copying Bible verses into a notebook. Then the Holy Spirit can bring it to your rememberance at a later time, and you can apply it to specific situations.
As you read the Word of God, you will become aware of conflicts between what you believed in the past, and what God’s Word is telling you now. This is the time to decide to believe and follow God’s Word, and throw your old ideas from the world overboard. Even if it means throwing overboard some religious teachings that you believed were true, but now find that God’s Word does not agree with them.

In this regard, you must be ready to go against the grain of the society that you are in, and be different… because the world will not welcome you.. it will try to bring you down, and make you forget about God. Your old friends will not want to be with you. You will be ignored, insulted, falsely accused, misunderstood, isolated… but in the midst of all of that, you must focus your attention on Jesus Christ, who lives inside you now and will never leave you or forsake you. And it happened to me also in Taiwan, Oh it was so painful.. But praise the Lord, eto ako ngayon, napapatuloy sa Kanya..
Getting closer to the Lord takes setting aside some time every day to talk to Him in prayer, as He talks to you through the Bible. Dont be in a hurry… the time you invest in getting to know Christ personally will come back to you as increased maturity, and stength and wisdom, just what you need to fend off the attacks of satan. Although it may sound simple, there is no substitute for time alone with Jesus in prayer and worship.

It is not easy to be a Christian witness in a dark and corrupted world. It is easier to just keep quiet and earn our living in peace and silence, not making anybody "uncomfortable", not "forcing our religion" on anyone else. And so we let the rest of the world go merrily on its way to Hell. Just few weeks ago, it happened to me.. Somebody persecuted me so badly..

God knows that we feel this way. He knows we prefer the easy path, "the path of least resistance", the path which involves no hurt and no losses, the warm and fuzzy little comfort zone of "christian silence". Having "been there and done that" for many years of my christian life, I also know the guilty feelings and feelings of disobedience that such a life carries with it… wondering what kind of a Christian must I be if I am more worried about keeping my job than obeying Christ..more worried about not offending my "acquaintances" by not confronting them with the claims of Christ and His Words.

And now that I am away you must be even more careful to do the good things that result from being saved, obeying God with deep reverence, shrinking back from all that might displease Him.
For God is at work within you, helping you to want to obey Him, and then helping you do what He wants.

In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing so that no one can speak a word of blame against you.

You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of people who are crooked and stubborn.

Shine out among them like beacon lights, holding out to them the Word of Life!

Thanks for your time and may God bless you always and your family!

In Christ,

sis melody

I specifically remember the day this particular truth dawned on me.. It was as if as light came on..God introduced me to the true meaning of His unconditional love. It was the beginning of my life journey into the mystery of God’s truly amazing grace!

Hi Friend . . . the Joy of the Lord to YOU ! You know, sometimes you can have people all around you and yet you can still be so very lonely.  You can have people tell you that they love you, and yet you feel unloved.  You can share with others what burdens your soul so much and they can’t understand or feel how deep the hurt really is.  And you can have friends who call themselves friends, who really don’t know you at all.  And then there are those whom God will place in your lives that you have only known but a short time and the Spirit of God makes you feel as if you’ve known them forever.  There is a bond of love that is just indescribable and somehow all those feelings of loneliness and not being loved begin to be erased because you feel God’s love pouring out of them.  What a blessing it is when God places a special friend in your life and causes this to happen.  It is a rare occasion and not one that happens but a very few times in a lifetime.  Somehow, the Lord uses this person to really make you understand the depth of love that He has for each one of us and it simply is so hard to express how much they have touched your life.  14235044933014l(here are some of the pics, friends sorry if i did not post all of my friends pic here, ill do it later, there’s limit here at BLOG..only 50 pics are allowed in 1 month eh)

Prayer for Those Seeking God

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are told in the Bible if we will seek first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness that You will add all the other things that the people of the world seek after (Matthew 6:33). May they realize you sent Jesus Your son to die for them on the cross and if they come to You confessing and forsaking their sins, You will forgive them and give them eternal life. This new life is to begin now. The moment they invite You to come into their heart You will change them so they can live for You, and Your purposes, and no longer live for self.

Lord, give them the peace and assurance of Your presence as they reach out to You. Reveal Yourself to them, Father. Heal them from their sickness and deliver them from all bondage of sin.

Bless them and may their new walk in the Spirit be one that brings glory to Your name! Amen.

What You Should Do Now!
The Word of God says, "…and Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37). I have included a sample prayer and when you agree and pray it (or one like it from your own heart) the Lord will hear AND FORGIVE YOUR SINS now!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you with all my sins, my burdens and addictions. Wash me in the precious blood that Jesus shed for me when He died on the cross. Break the chains of sin and of Satan in my life and family. I surrender to you and I want to be yours; spirit, soul and body, for time and eternity. I put my faith in you alone, Lord Jesus Christ. You are the only begotten Son of the Living God. I believe with my heart what I now confess with my mouth: You are my Savior, Lord and God. My sins are now forgiven and I have been "born-again!" Old things have passed away and I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I am a child of God. I believe it and I receive it in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ. AMEN.
(If you sincerely prayed this prayer or one like it from your heart, I welcome you to the family of God. pls send me an email so i can help you to be more closer to God. I love you all dearly and i want to share the goodness of the Lord).
And pray everyday. Daily ask God for His guidance and wisdom and the power to lead the overcoming Christian life. Confess your sins to Him quickly, and never fail to give Him thanks for all of His blessings to you. Read your Bible every day. This is one of the primary ways that God speaks to you. The whole book is a letter to YOU! The best way to begin to know Him is simply to read about Him. Read the four Gospels first - Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Then begin to read other books in the New Testament. Read Romans, read 1 John, read Revelation. Read all the books in between. As you read, ask God to make His word alive and real to you. Ask Him to speak to you through His Word. Tell Him you want to know more about Jesus! Then, as the Holy Spirit directs you, begin to read the Old Testament. There are many "types and shadows" of Jesus in every book of the Old Testament. There are countless prophecies referring to Him. All of the Old Testament points ahead to Christ, the cross, and to the redemption of mankind. All of the New Testament points back to the cross. All of history hinges on that cross. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the single most important event in human history. Resist Satan and temptation! As we begin to draw closer to God, we enter into a realm of spiritual warfare against the evil god of this world. He is the one who is whispering lies of condemnation in your ear. He will do everything he can to keep you from reading and believing the Bible. But the good news is, he is powerless against the power of God. Tell him to LEAVE in the name of JESUS! "Submit yourselves therefore, to God. RESIST the devil and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).

To all those who visit my BLOG… God’s blessings upon you.  May the Lord place those in your path who will be a source of encouragement and hope to you also.  And when He does, make sure you try to let them know just how much He has touched you through them. God loves you dearly and has plans to use you for His glory. He would use you to be a light to this dark world. Most of all though, He wants you as His dear friend. He died for you! I am praying for you. Don’t give up–just keep moving forward, closer to God. You will NEVER regret it! He is the most priceless treasure in the entire universe–the glory of a million suns cannot hold a candle to His brilliance. He is everything you have ever wanted, and more.

May the God of all mercy and hope be with you this day and always. Feel free to send me your prayer requests..ok? God bless you all!

Love in Christ,

sis melody
