God’s Power In My Life

Greetings in the name of the Lord! I want to say thank you all for visiting my blog.. All that is written here came from my heart and I want to keep it updated and I want to thank you all my friends for sending me your prayer requests and for trusting me and for telling me your problems. I dont have to mention your names because i know that you know who i’m talking about.. Friends, if you are hurting I am too. If you’re happy I am too. And you are all special to me. Even i have my own family, I want you all to know that you are all part of MELODY’S life.. Im not living for myself alone…There is a burden on my heart.  A burden for all my friends that are lost and do not know Jesus as their personal Savior.  There are those that I love and care for that need Jesus in their lives so much.  And as much as I want them to believe and follow Him, I know that ultimately it is their decision how they choose to live their lives.  They will always be in my heart and prayers, however.  I pray the Lord will continue to reach out to them and place others before them that He can use as a witness. 

This BLOG of mine is to remind those who are already in Christ of how much Jesus gave for us.  It is also for those who have not yet made that committment… it is to give them something to think about.  May there never be one who can say, "I never knew because no one ever told me."

I pray the Lord to use ME, and to use this Blog of mine as He sees fit and that His name will be glorified because of it.

Friends, may the Lord bless you exceedingly above all that you can even think to hope for. You know, sometimes, when everything around you seems to be going so crazy, you find yourself grasping for anything around that might offer the smallest bit of hope to you.  It is so easy to forget that no matter what everyone or everything around you seems to be saying, we are never without hope as long as we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  All things are allowed to happen for whatever reason and we don’t have to know why.. we just have to know who is always in control and that He will work all things according to His good and perfect plan for our lives if we will let Him.

Love Him enough to trust Him.

This BLOG is dedicated to some very close friends of mine that are themselves going through some very hard trials right now. Thank ya’ll friends for telling me all the pain in your hearts and thank you so much for trusting me.  I know the unspoken fears and feelings of helplessness that sometimes come to mind even though you are trying to trust God with every fiber of your being.  He will not forsake you, He will not let you down, He will see you through this and you will see the work of His hand one day when you look back on all of this.  You are in my heart and prayers.

Father, it is such a comfort to know that no matter what time of the day or night we have a need, You will be there to hear us when we cry out to You.  Lord, there will be those who already know You that will visit this BLOG of mine who are hurting and are in need of a touch from Your mighty hand.  Whether it is spiritual, physical, mental or emotional, I pray that You will meet that need, Father.  There will also be those who come to Blog of mine that do not know You as their Personal Savior… that is the greatest need of all, Lord, that anyone can have.  I pray that they will listen to Your Spirit as He calls to them and that they will embrace the work that Jesus did on the cross for them and receive Him into their heart as Lord and Savior.  Lord, guide each of us into a closer walk with You and increase our measure of faith.  I must decrease Lord so that You can increase. Father, there is none like You.  You have lavished Your love on us in so many ways that it is impossible to even begin to name them all.  You offer Your comfort and protection so many times and I know that we are guarded and kept safe many times when we do not even realize that we have been in harm’s way.  Your mercy and compassion on mankind has been poured out time and time again and yet so many times we seem so thankless and take for granted all that comes from Your hands.  Lord, help us to realize just how much You are there for us and how much You have done for us.  Don’t let us walk in blindness to all the wonderful ways that You have blessed us already.  Help us to be truly thankful for Your mercy and Your grace.  Lord, teach us to worship You as You desire to worshipped; to lift Your Holy name above all names and give You the glory, honor and praise that You are so worthy of.  Lord, we can never repay You for all You have done, for Your gift of salvation, for loving us as You do… but we can glorify Your name.  We can give You praise, Lord.  We can say Hallelujah to God Our Father.. a thousand praises to the Lord Most High.. and this we do, Lord.   Be with each person that visits this site, Father.  You know the need in each of their lives and I ask that You be with them in a special way and minister to them as only You can do.  I ask that You work through these pages/ MY FRIENDSTER’S PAGE AND MY BLOG’S PAGE as You see fit and and have them reach those they were intended to reach.   In Jesus’ most Precious Name I pray.. amen and amen.
